Jack the Ripper is currently airing on El Rey Network along with in-depth interviews and behind the scenes.

Brand New Score for Jack the Ripper

A brand new score for our short film Jack the Ripper has been composed by Gareth Murphy with a full orchestra. Gareth contacted us last year about loving the short film and wanting to try his hand at a score. What he delivers is a brand new take on the film that is wonderfully haunting and creepy and reminiscent of some of our favorite films of all time.

Gareth, seen in the photo with his back to the camera dressed in black, worked with Gavin Greenaway as the conductor who has conducted huge blockbuster films (just last year he did  Dunkirk, Kingsman, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Guardians of the Galaxy)!

Jack the Ripper had an amazing run on the festival circuit and can now be seen on Robert Rodriguez’s El Rey Network.

There will be a digital recap heading online this November with Behind the Scenes and Digital Exclusives!

Another Cool Interview, an Emmy, and John Carpenter!

We chat about our short film Jack The Ripper as well as our upcoming Feature, The West and the Ruthless! Here’s a quick snippet:

"There are a few shout-outs to St. Louis in it," Nick Trivundza said. "One of the cowboys in the story is from Missouri, and the lead female character is named Mary Laclede." After Laclede’s Landing.

Interview Makes the Front Page!

Pretty awesome that the interview with Deke Farrow made the front page this last weekend! It was a wonderful surprise and we’re really excited!

The article discusses our short films, Jack the Ripper and The Umbrella Factory, as well as our upcoming Feature, The West and The Ruthless. It also has some great quotes from Robert Rodriguez’s El Rey Network and President!

Awesome Interview Online Now!

Check out this fantastic article on our short films and upcoming Feature Film, The West and the Ruthless! It's with Deke Farrow, a super awesome journalist with Northern California newspaper, The Modesto Bee!

It talks about our upcoming episode on Robert Rodriguez’s El Rey Network with Host John Carpenter, our short films, Jack the Ripper, some behind the scenes on The Umbrella Factory, as well as The West and the Ruthless!

It also includes some wonderfully nice things from the El Rey President himself!

THE SHORT'S MOST IMPRESSIVE QUALITY WAS THE DIRECTION IT TOOK WITH THE ICONIC TITLE CHARACTER – STACKING STORY AGAINST AN UNUSUAL LAYERING OF TIME PERIODS AND STYLE. ... WE PORED OVER COUNTLESS SUBMISSIONS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD TO SELECT THESE 10 SHORTS FOR OUR FIRST SHOWCASE, AND ‘JACK THE RIPPER’ WAS A UNANIMOUS RAISED-HAND FOR INCLUSION.

Daniel Tibbets, El Rey Network president and general manager, also had this to say about our upcoming episode and short film:

“We also gave the short extra kudos for its noir-ish black-and-white color palette, which invoked the style of Robert Rodriguez’s own noir epic, ‘Sin City.’ ”

Then the article goes on to discuss the upcoming feature, The West and the Ruthless and includes our favorite quote (like ever):

“It’s not called ‘The West and the Nice People.”

The Print edition comes out this Sunday!

New Short Film, Jack the Ripper (Coming Soon)!

We are really excited to announce our next short film, Jack the Ripper! Along with the Umbrella Factory released earlier this year, this is our second short that we've been working on. We're also really excited to be working with the super talented James Brinkley once again as he embodies the voice of the Ripper himself.

The Umbrella Factory was made of paper, cut outs, Victorian etchings that we printed out and cut and then scanned. Jack the Ripper, goes the opposite direction with some really beautiful 3D cities, models, and sets developed by some great 3D artists!
