STARPOST, Official FilmQuest Selection!

STARPOST, our latest film will be heading to the amazingly cool FilmQuest this Fall! FilmQuest has been touted as one of the BEST genre film festivals in the world, and after attending several times in the past, we can agree!

FilmQuest is always packed with the best of the best, the films you see there and the filmmakers exude cool - and to get to rub elbows with those guys and gals is always a blast. It’s one of those festivals where every film you see makes you a little jealous you didn’t come up with that idea, but is so inspiring that someone did!

STARPOST first premiered on the big screen earlier this year in Ireland, followed by a US Premiere. It will next screen at FilmQuest and then Fantasy Fest in Los Angeles.

STARPOST has also racked up several awards along the way including Best Short Film, and been nominated for Best Sci-Fi Short, best International Short Film, Best Editor, Best Visual Effects, and best Score.

The Curiosity Shoppe, First Look

The curtain pulls back just a bit further as we reveal the town of Dreary, the Curiosity Shoppe itself, and its connection to The Umbrella Factory, our delightfully dark short film from many years ago.

The Curiosity Shoppe:

Violet Grey runs a Curiosity Shoppe in the dismal town of Dreary, supplying monsters, curses, and magical fixes on demand. As a vicious umbrella-industry feud drags her into danger, Violet uncovers secrets tied to her missing father and a destiny she never expected.

StarPost Nominated for Best Sci-Fi Short!

Really excited to announce that after our win for Best Short Film at the US Premiere of StarPost in Orlando, and several nominations at the World Premiere in Ireland, StarPost has just received its next nomination! StarPost was just nominated for Best Sci-Fi Short at this year’s Fantasy Fest in LA!

We’re really proud of StarPost as we were able to take so much of the knowledge we had learned creating worlds in Unreal Engine and begin mixing it with Live Action.

Fantasy Fest will be held this November along with the official award ceremony and award announcements.

RIPPERS / ABOUT
There are many ways to achieve immortality, and the Rippers have discovered one of the darkest paths: a secret inherited from the legendary Jack the Ripper himself.

The path to immortality demands six carefully chosen victims. The first must be a stranger.

Directors Nick + Lexie return to one of their earliest short films, Jack the Ripper, reimagining it as the first chapter of a brand-new chilling adventure. Blending motion capture, photography, MetaHumans, Unreal Engine, AI, Photoshop, and After Effects, Adventure Company has created a bold new retelling that expands upon their original short film and brings this haunting world to life in an entirely new way.

The Curiosity Shoppe, Official Poster and Synopsis

We’re getting close to releasing our next project, The Curiosity Shoppe and unveiling the full synopsis and Official Poster. It’s the next glimpse into this world. A world with Vampires, Yetis, and even Werewolves.

The Curiosity Shoppe, Official Synopsis

In the dismal town of Dreary, Violet Grey runs her missing father’s Curiosity Shoppe. A place packed with cursed relics, helpful monsters, and magical solutions no one else dares to sell. By day, she serves the town’s strangest customers. By necessity, she descends into the vampire-filled catacombs beneath the shop. But when a feud erupts inside Dreary’s powerful umbrella industry, every ringing bell pulls Violet deeper into a web of sabotage, poison, antidotes, curses, bad luck, and one exceedingly polite yeti named Harold. Then a mysterious explorer arrives with news about her father. Her quiet routine shatters. Because some curiosities do not stay on the shelf.

Guy Ritchie's Young Sherlock

Guy Ritchie has been one of our favorite directors for decades. After the excitement of Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels, I can still remember how excited we were for Snatch to arrive in theaters. Some of our favorite films, including Sherlock Holmes, Man From UNCLE, The Gentlemen, and The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare have all been helmed by Guy.

So getting to be - even a very small part - on his latest for Young Sherlock was a thrill. The team at Imaginary Forces did amazing as always, crafting the opening to the series.

Coming in at the very end to handle the type, mastering, and delivery was exciting! It felt like a tiny behind the scenes for the upcoming show.
