Shortly after the World Premiere of STARPOST in Ireland this May, we’re excited to announce that the US Premiere will take place! The US Premiere will take place in Orlando Florida at the Orlando Urban Film Festival!
The festival takes place at the Regal Cinema Pointe Orlando and will be held Wednesday, May 27 - Saturday, May 29. The festival will include Q&As with the filmmakers as well as some wonderful workshops. Tickets on sale soon!
We’re super excited to announce that STARPOST will be making its Official Premiere on the big screen this May!
The film, directed by Nick + Lexie and produced by Adventure Company marks the latest collaboration between the filmmakers and Alexander Harris, Rebecca Gomberg, and Benedict Mazurek, the three on-screen leads.
STARPOST will be premiering at the May the 4th Film Festival, being held in Ireland May 1-4, a festival that celebrates all things from galaxies far, far away.
In 2024, Adventure Company premiered The BackSpace Trilogy in its entirety at the May the 4th Film Festival and even snagged a Special Achievement Award.

For quite some time now we have been working away on the Next BackSpace! After we wrapped The BackSpace Trilogy, we went off and worked on a few other projects including Tales from Black Manor the Movie, StarPost, and the Curiosity Shoppe.
But before any of those projects ever even started, there was one more BackSpace. It was called BackSpace Beyond. The biggest challenge we faced with BackSpace Beyond was that it kept growing. Scope creep was very very real. The worlds we wanted to explore, the adventures we wanted to have, the new characters we wanted to introduce - everyday - the story just exploded…
Here’s the first peak…
We’re so excited about our next three projects! Each of these is weaving together Live Action, Unreal Engine, and even experiments with artificial intelligence in new and exciting ways that we never dreamed possible.
As filmmakers we have always been excited about new ways to tell stories. Whether that was digital cameras, to FTP systems to share and review footage, to CGI and motion graphics. It leads us down new alleyways and adventures. It’s these exciting adventures that have led us to shoot in the middle of the desert, on the abandoned sets of old spaceships, tunnels and caves. It’s what lead us to begin exploring Unreal Engine integration, whether that was with robots, meta humans, or scanning props that we built and having them live in 3D environments that we could design.
The first project will take us to a world of curiosity, catacombs, and airships. A place where werewolves can have bad days, poison dart frog poison is sold by the vial, and explorer’s have business cards.
That project is The Curiosity Shoppe.
The next project is one that’s really close to our hearts, the fourth installment of The BackSpace Series. Returning to those characters and that world just gets more exciting each time and this next adventure is the most thrilling yet.
New adventures await. For some time now, we’ve been hard at work behind the curtain… dreaming up, building, and carefully crafting a slate of projects.
So let’s pull back the curtain, just an inch, on that first project.
