The super awesome Burbank International Film Festival is almost upon us and we just received word that we have been nominated for BEST ANIMATED SHORT for Around the World in 80 Days!

You've got two great chances to check out our brand new short film Around the World in 80 Days this weekend! (You just need to be in Oregon or Ireland)! This September, our awesome short film "Around the World in 80 Days" is heading to Rome! Rome, Georgia that is. The Rome International Film Festival has been selected as one of the top 20 Film Festivals in Movie Maker Magazine and we couldn't be more excited to be a part of this year's line up!
The festival takes place at the beautiful and historic DeSoto Theatre built in 1927, the first theater in the south to screen talkies!
The films, programs and workshops will be taking place September 10-13, 2015.

Our short film, The Umbrella Factory has taken the top honors at the North Carolina Film Awards this summer! Official laurels are on their way for the Founders Award, the top prize offered by the NCFA.

The Mission of the North Carolina Film Awards is to strengthen the independent film, television and video industry. The NCFA shall identify and recognize an array of talented filmmakers and their movies from across the state, region, nation and the world. Features and shorts, are welcome at the North Carolina Film Awards, bringing in the widest array of artists from different disciplines.
Around the World is crossing the Atlantic again! First London, then Vienna, and now Cork, Ireland!
We have a very special place in our hearts for the Underground Film Festival. Not only does it take place in the beautiful city of Cork, but this will also be our 4th film to attend their wonderful film festival and we couldn't be more proud! Not only that, but our first short film, Little Red Riding Hood (which was a mixture of animation and black and white photography shot in Sierra Nevada) played in their very first festival!
Cut to 2015 and now Around the World is heading there as well!
The festival takes place August 22 - 29th

We're really honored to have an award nomination double feature! Both The Umbrella Factory and Around the World in 80 Days have been nominated for awards in North Carolina! North Carolina has become a center for filmmaking over the last few years with tons of television series produced there as well as on-location filming. The North Carolina Film Awards is a national awards program that doesn't just recognize North Carolina filmmakers, but filmmakers from all around the world.

Big news for our short film Around the World in 80 Days! This September the film will return to Hollywood as part of the amazing Burbank International Film Festival! The festival, now in it's seventh year, has some amazing galas, dinners, parties, and screenings coming up! Last year the film festival also celebrated some amazing industry folks as well such as Shane Black (Iron man 3), Brenda Chapman (Brave) as well as designer Neville Page (Oblivion and Avatar)!
There will also be a special 30th anniversary screening of the "timeless classic" Back to the Future!
The Festival takes place September 9th - 13th

Heading back across the Atlantic, Jules Verne Jr is actually starting to go around the world! Not only has Around the World in 80 Days been playing in Salt Lake City, New York, Oregon, Tennessee, Seattle, and London, but it's now heading off to Vienna as well! The Vienna Short Film Project will be playing international shorts throughout the city!

Jules Verne Jr is heading to the Northwest as our short film, Around the World in 80 Days, makes it's way up to Oregon! The film festival with the lovely name, We Like 'Em Short, is a festival held every year aimed at celebrating short films, animation, and comedies.
The film festival takes place August 20 - 23.

As part of the Gold Coast Summer Screenings, The Umbrella Factory returns for an encore showing! We were over the moon to be a part of the Gold Coast Film Festival last year and it's even more exciting to have a follow up screening!
So, if you're in New York and want to see a bunch of great films on the big screen this summer, including our macabre short about three unlucky brothers, check it out!

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Around the World will be screening as part of this year's San Antonio Film Festival! The festival, now celebrating it's 21st year is famous not only for it's amazing selection of films but also its after parties and free beer (whaaaaaaaat?)

We're big supporters of the Salt Lake City Film Festival, FilmQuest! Not only was their inaugural year (last year's festival) one of our favorite festivals, it was also one of our favorite trips. We had the chance to not only explore Salt Lake, but we also headed off to beautiful Park City and stopped by Sundance. It was an amazing trip (we were even able to tack on Idaho and Wyoming as well).
Last year FilmQuest was one of the great film festivals that played the Macabre Trilogy (The Umbrella Factory, Jack the Ripper, Haunting of the White Sparrow) and this year they'll be debuting our newest short, Around the World in 80 Days!

This July, Around the World in 80 Days is Heading to Hollywood! Screening at the very cool Raleigh Studios, The SoCal film festival takes place in the screening room nestled among the sound stages right there on Melrose. The studios are pretty historic, dating back to the founding in 1912, so if you'd like tickets, you'll be among Hollywood history! Pretty cool.
The film festival will take place July 23-26.

That's right, our short film, Around the World in 80 Days is heading back to the Bay!
The film will screen as apart of the Long Day Short Film Festival, held on June 21st, the longest day of the year! (Woot, summer solstice, folks!) We're also really proud to be a part of the festival now two years in a row! Last year, The Umbrella Factory screened and it was a fantastic evening with good films, good folks, and lots of good wine!

June gets even busier for Jules Verne Jr and Ava as they head to Little Rock this summer! As part of the creative community in Arkansas, The Film Society of Little Rock will be holding film festivals all summer long. On June 17th, The Good Things / Small Packages will be screening Around the World in 80 Days and it's going to be awesome!

What do Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Umbrella Factory have in common? They both won at the American Movie Awards (just a few years apart)! We're thrilled that our short film about the three unlucky brothers is still racking up awards and laurels! This latest win is for Best Animated Film! High five.

The Gold Coast International Film Festival is amazing! Taking place in Long Island New York every year, they feature some of the coolest indie films hitting the festival circuit! We're really proud to be apart of this festival two years in a row now!
The Festival doesn't take place until November, (Nov 9-15) but we just received our official laurels and got really excited so thought we should announce it NOW! I mean, why wait for good news?
